Okay, I think I know whats the best way to hang myself, I just want to know what you guys think. Chair a bit away from anchor point so its not directly below, vaseline on the neck, noose knot, knot on the back of the neck as high on the neck as posible. Then, pull myself up by grabing the rope and at the same time stepping off chair. That way I do partial and when I go uncounsciouss, my arm should go limp and then full suspension happens. Thoughts?

From evelyn's posts. But its kinda duuh isnt it. Before i started reading about suicide hangings, thats how I would do it anyway.

There's a video of a guy doing the pullup thing where he eases himself into unconsciousness. It would be hard to do from the rope itself. I have burns on my hands where I grabbed it. You have to bend it around your hands to pull up.

I know successful partial hangings are not unheard of but it really seems to me that that decisive step into full suspension is unavoidable.
