Not quite right, it takes a lot longer. So I read up on it and suspend hanging can take up to 5 mins before one actually dies. While on the other hand drop hanging seems to be the more efficient way to go. Plus it's less painless, and has a higher success rate.
Thanks for the information. Can you please provide us with the sources for the higher success rate?So I read up on it and suspend hanging can take up to 5 mins before one actually dies. Like I said, that hanging itself was perfect, but the preparations were terrible.Idk still just seems like allot of room for error. If those people actually break down that door, she could be spending the rest of her life as a vegetable.
She had something that would hold her weight. She had her kids locked out. She had that nice long scarf. She was nimble enough to get it all set up fast. Everything held and worked out perfectly. I have lots of admiration for her. Nothing about it was ugly or clumsy.Like I said, that hanging itself was perfect, but the preparations were terrible.
People survive with broken spinal cords. This is what confuses me about hanging. They are simply paralyzed. For all we know that lady who hung herself was alive but paralyzed.View attachment 45110
Most people tend to not survive a broken neck
Personally, I would therefore choose either normal full or too long, i.e. more than 3 meters. That why its almost a science to die by drop hanging, you need to take in contact the weight of the person, the quality of the rope/knot and calculate that you don't drop to high or not enough.

The decapitation seems to me easier and safer than the long drop
Probably a few mili/seconde i suppose considering the brain would have a tiny bit of energy left. But not enough for being aware of it.Yea
I wonder if that thing about the brain continuing to live on for a short while after decapitation is true?

I think in France the last person killed by guillotine was 1977, not so long ago when you think about it.
Not sure i understand what you try to say, by death penalty in france was removed in 1981, and made unconstitutional in 2007.I heard that somewhere. The people went crazy over it. And seeing how barbaric they were acting over it France outlawed it.
Kinda shocking to see how people react, when they're allowed to.
What did I intend I don't honestly know.
I've been here before. But last time I was pulled off. Now? I don't know

It probably nerving system reaction after death, not the body being alive i imagine.I know there was a headless rooster which lived quite a long time after it's head was cut off.
Ha ha ha. Seriously, there's a lot of misunderstanding regarding hanging. In the video comments most people are calling it 'fake' since the knot is in front and not crushing the windpipe. They think that as long as she can breathe, she can hang there for weeks. Maybe die of dehydration. They don't know about carotid arteries because of Hollywood crap. Can you please provide us with a simpler short version of it?

Well, it seems like I was right in the first place, I asked D.P. Lyle, MD and he answered: "It must be the common carotids as they are the ones that supply blood to the brain."So it seems that compression of the latter suffice to lose consciousness. And then it would also be better to put the knot at the front so there's no pressure on your windpipe 'cos that's what really hurts.
Drop hanging is for the movies or professional hangmen. Full lets you pass out is seconds. Yes, you can be revived successfully in the first few minutes, but severe damage occurs after that. That is why planning is so important. Make sure you have alone time.So I read up on it and suspend hanging can take up to 5 mins before one actually dies. Then your planning was bad, not the methodBut that's the thing, what if you're revived after the first few minutes. Then you're a vegetable stuck in a terrible existence.
If you attempt suicide at a location where there's a possibility of being found before success, you're not ready to ctb. A serious ctb attempt can only be done when you're sure of over 8 hours of uninterrupted privacy. But that's the thing, what if you're revived after the first few minutes. Good observation. However you'll be shocked at how easy and effective hanging is. Just read the article below about a jailbird literally hanging himself with a covid mask.A question: She doesn't use a rope properly right? , seems to me an "elastic band" like the ones you find at the gym.
