Hanging isn’t silent

I tried full (albeit for a few seconds) and partial, and at times during the 2 hour period I was in the noose, I did make a lot of noise. I was choking, gagging and making deep gurgling noises that were very loud. I was alone in a forested area, but the sound would travel. Just a note as a lot of the info says there is no noise with hanging. If you were doing this in a home with other people they may hear. Even when I blacked out once during partial I woke up choking and making noise. Fingers crossed my next attempt on Monday works!

I haven't tested hanging as much as you have, but in a home setting I always imagined kicking could occur and cause noise as well if you're close enough to a wall/door/etc. Or else it could be possible to scratch at things with your fingers. Thanks for the information, and I'm sorry for your painful experiences with it. I wish the best for you on your next attempt should you go through with it. I guess everyone's different whenever I practiced it I didn't make any noise. I almost blacked out within 15 seconds using a 4 mm ligature with a slipknot lubed up.

To be honest I'm a bit jealous you came close to blacking out so quickly, I never had but I imagine I've done things wrong.

Question, were you using partial or full? Another factor related to noise I thought about for partial especially, is how there seem to be accounts of people standing up or something similar and ruining their own attempt even after going unconscious. So I wonder even if we were silent going out, if anything could happen without us knowing. This is all conjecture though, since I'm too tired to properly research tonight.

Hanging does sound like an awful way to leave this world to me. I think I will have to be really desperate to attempt. Thank you for sharing this information. Being found too early and failing the attempt is what I fear. I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point and I wish you the best in whatever happens.

How did the few seconds of full feel? Whats the story there, since you obviously survived?

Oh, my bad. How about you? You said you blacked out in 15 seconds, was it full or partial? And did you black out before you were worried about not being able to breath. I'd appreciate any info, thanks

Full but I was able to reach the ground with my tippy toes I stood back up on the chair whenever I felt myself starting to black out
Yes before I was not able to breathe

Full will be pretty quiet as long as there is nothing to bang into during any involuntary movements.

Cool, I'm really hoping I'll blackout before strugging to breath. Strangulation scares me

I found a fire escape in back of hotel, quiet and private at night. Will I wake up nearby rooms which are close by? I'd have to do late at night, and it would be fully suspended off a 30 foot ledge. But wonder if I could get away with it as it make make noise. It's also a short drop so I would climb over ledge and do it. Thoughts?

It should work well. Even with some noise you cannot be "rescued" quickly, especially at night.
If you have a good slip knit, the short drop will tighten it very well and knock you out quickly.
Just make sure all knots are well tied.

Think I'm gonna try to just SN in my room, but thanks, it's a little risky to hang there but I like how final it is.
