As title says. Hanging from door.
Rope tied to doorknob and tossed over door to other side.
Does one need to lean into the rope first (like diagonally) or can you just slide your back down the door with feet out ?(straight down)
Note: I will be in a standing position

It's hard to ask anyone who has done it and were successful. I'm sure there will be some degree of discomfort no matter how you do it. My cousin by marriage was successful with partial. I have no idea what kind of discomfort he suffered. He tied a rope to a clothes rod in a closet, tied the other end around his neck, and just leaned forward. I guess he was really intent on ctb. One would have to be to do it like that.

In my experience I went down on my knees and then leaned forward therefore i was diagonal to the floor. It wasn't in the slight painful due to me getting my arteries just right. I was out within seconds. Hope this helps

I'm trying to understand how your body would stay leaned forward after going unconscious? Wouldn't you fall back and basically just be in a position like if you had just lowered yourself straight down ?
Note: I've watched a lot of videos and never have seen a hanging done with leaning to visualize it. I've only seen ones that the person hangs straight down.
Do you or any other members have a link to a video that shows leaning?
