I heard some people say that just compressing their carotid arteries caused their bodies to begin convulsing. What is that like?

I tried partially suspended hanging once but when I was about to faint, my body unconsciously removed the rope. It wasn't exactly a convulsion but it was kinda like that.

I've been watching hanging videos to do it better next time and there are some who DO have extreme convulsions so I can confirm that.

If you're interested and want to see explicit content and experiences, a useful website is bestgore dot com (warning: if you're a sensitive person, you should avoid it. There are many sections, "hanging" is one of them and the only one I navigate on because the rest is too much for me.)

Sorry to be graphic, but I've tried partial hanging many times, and my body started shaking

i tried a version of full using the shower rail. I started convulsing and even wet myself (the body does this as the muscles relax), I managed to touch the bottom of the rail with my tip toes and eventually free myself. This was clearly SI

i tried partial hanging again a few weeks later, using the wardrobe rail and a towering dressing gown cord. I knelt forward and started shaking. I then fell backwards to a sitting position, which tightened the noose even further. Once again SI was kicking in and with a struggle I manage to grab the vertical bar in the wardrobe and stand up.

i haven't tried hanging since, as I know SI will kick in and I also know I'm too scared to do full.

i wish there was a more peaceful way to gi

I got some extremely weird arm movements, head, spine and legs violently shaking and moving in all unimaginable directions possible. I felt pins and needles in my mouth.

I started with a metal shelving system that had a round metal tube to hang clothes on. Very solid. I bought a flat nylon strap (Lastgurt) in Baumarkt, using the metal buckle to create the noose (that was not so comfortable). I looped the strap over the clothes pole and held on to it with one hand. I practiced several times with partial, but had the problem of too much blood getting stuck in my head. So then I tried a full suspension. Standing on a metal shelf at the bottom of the rack, I pulled on the strap until it was as tight as possible, pulling me up. I started to feel the tingling sensation in my body, the sparkling fizz in my head, euphoria, and then I stepped off the shelf, completely suspended. I don't remember anything after stepping off. I woke up flat on the floor, at first unable to move. I had wet myself. The entire shelf system had toppled over, presumably due to convulsions. From that moment, I knew: it works, I can do this, I have my method.

if you notice the twitching or cramping during partial or full hanging, then something is wrong.

Usually you quickly pass out.
How strong the twitching or cramping is and how it feels is different for everyone.

But it has to be considered especially with partial hanging. For example, with a knot that tightens even more with movement than it opens.

Here's a video of clinical studies on fainting being done, I suspect it's similar:

You are unconscious when your body convulses. The attached document confirmes my personal experiences.
