i plan to do full suspension hanging on a shelf that i have at the ceiling of my room, the problem is there is a fixed table beneath it and while full suspended my hands can touch the table and make presure towards it, im pretty skinny and can lift my body using my arms, is there a chance that S.I kicks in and fact that my hands will be touching the table that i can lift the pressure of my body and relieve the tension on the carotid with it and fail? anyway to prevent this if thats the case ? i was thinking about handcuffing my wrists together with a tape or shoelace
any help is appreciatted ❤️

There was a video of a girl crossing her arms as if hugging herself. The position she adopted once hung.

(personal opinion, not advice)

I think being tied up would freak me out even more.

Honestly, I would leave my arms and hands free (and not kicking away the chair):

1) to keep/place the knot in its correct position and prevent it from moving (before applying all my weight)

2) in case the SI is too violent or something is not right, I can use my arms to pull myself up. And review the situation.

I'd be weary of the "shelf", more particularly the mountings of the shelf, being strong enough to support your weight, as little as it may be. Normally the brackets that support shelves are mounted to walls via anchors of some sort that are usually not capable of supporting the weight of a person, even a small and lightweight one.

thanks for the concern❤️, i did some testings before already putting my 2 hands in the noose and making as much pressure downhards as i could and it could stand the weight pretty well, but i guess the only way to find out if it will work is by doing it so i will take the gamble, hoping it works as i dont have anywhere else to do fsh from my home
wish me luck :)
