• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So after having a dozen welfare checks and given up hope that anyone actually understands that this is not some kind of act for attention but rather a very human need to be understood, I have come up with a few rules and need to know information for the "recently" deceased to die by.

01. Don't tell anyone.
02. Don't convince yourself things will get better. They will not.
03. Every plea for you to stay is really reverse psychology. Just do it.
04. Do your research before starting.
05. Once you start you cannot stop.
06. Remember no one will ever love you.
07. You're already dead. So level up.
08. Every animal you've ever lost and everyone who ever understood you is on the other side.
09. A perfect version of everyone you ever loved is waiting on you to join them.
10. It's your birthday party and nobody came.
11. If you stay they will come, and they will hurt you.

If there's anything I missed or anything that might want to add, feel free to do so. I did not want to say anything that was expressly vulgar or demented. These are just some very hard truths for anyone who's chosen the path of death. These are not meant to discourage people who are on the fence about whether or not they should be alive. Lastly, these are axioms for the ones who want to be free, not philosophical beliefs.
I've been dead since the day I was born, and if you know what that's like then take my hand.

I was thinking of making my own thread somewhat similar to this, and I may still do so, but I think I can add it here: If you're preparing for death, you should plan for living (although, this might be perhaps a bit contrary to point 2, although I'd view it more as a pessimistic view that things won't get better, but that you can prevent worse things). You should plan your life like you're getting better, applying to jobs or "improving" on yourself (metaphorically, so to speak). Learning a new skill, saving money, taking a vacation (while being mindful of your expenses), etc. rather than trying to ruin your life or spend every dollar you have needlessly. That isn't even some recovery spiel I'm thinly trying to disguise. Rather, if you end up not going through with your attempt, or if you do attempt and get saved, then ruining your life beforehand certainly isn't going to help. Even if one thinks that "ruining my life will make it easier to CTB," on the chance that you aren't able to CTB, you're just going to be living in poorer conditions. If you get thrown in a psych ward, they're less likely to let you out if you're living homeless, alone, or any other form of what the pro-lifers and society considers "depraved conditions" rather than what they perceive as "well-rounded/well-balanced circumstances." If you want to die, you ironically need to give society the illusion that you're giving life it's best shot or it's going to cause more problems and make it more unlikely you'll be able to CTB.

If I get what you're saying correctly then what you're pretty much saying is someone should life to the fullest before ctb. And while I will admit that I used to believe in that myself, yet I have found in doing everything I've been able to do within my means, I've found no fascination with this carcass of a world. I know a lot of people on here are repulsed by the idea of trying to survive and having fun while others simply want a better life for themselves, yet irrefutably both kinds of people are satisfied within eternal sleep.

Not what I was trying to say, although I can see how I may have improperly worded my statement in a way that could've been misconstrued, which is my fault. I meant to say that it's easier to attempt suicide if you have the money to obtain the supplies needed for your chosen method, it's easier to get out of a psych ward after an attempt if they believe you're going to be okay, and so on.
