Does anyone have any Halloween plans this year?

Seasons Greeting, everyone!

Thinking back, when I was a child, I loved trick-or-treating and dressing up, loved costumes. Loved decorating with my mom. We'd spend literally hours and hours decorating. We had an inflatable giant spider on the roof every year. I remember one year, no joke, hand to god, I weighed it. I got 10 lbs of candy in a pillow case. I remember mischief night the night before Halloween…

As I got older, for like three years I got really immersed in different kinds of dark theology. Occult black magic. Just one of the phases I went through.

When I was 13 and I was interested in LeVeyan satanism it was through a homeless guy with a book in his hand.

One year for Halloween I went to a concert and took molly. One year I went to a club, one year I did shrooms. One year I just stayed home with my gf and watched a ton of scary movies in a monster marathon. I remember one year baking some of the strongest brownies I've made with a group of friends. We also had a hookah going for the hell of it but we got so baked and we watched Old Boy for the first time not knowing what it was. Lmao. But that was all honestly a long time ago. Trying to figure out what would be appropriate for this year. Maybe taking my niece and nephew trick-or-treating.

I'm just gonna hand out candy. I made gift bags with Halloween themed toys and candy to hand out.

your halloween experiences seem really fun and lovely. i used to enjoy halloween as much as i enjoy christmas (i like christmas way more now). i did trick-or-treating once but failed because i live in Australia and people hardly celebrate it since its seen more as an American Tradition.

Im just going to celebrate halloween online and dress up virtual avatars for it and play games that have any halloween events, i enjoy the themes that also come out (vampires, zombies, ghosts and such).

i'm so excited for halloween!! i'm going to go to at least one party with my friends. when i was younger i lovedddd trick or treating bc i would get so much candy LMAO but now that i'm an adult i can just get myself as much candy as i want. i hope everyone who celebrates has a good halloween and if you don't i hope you have a wonderful october 31st :)

I love Halloween but I don't have the energy to do something this year. If you knew me, you'd know something is up because its my favorite holiday and I LOVE horror. Well, besides the life long clinical depression, its been almost a year since my nana passed. I remember cleaning my room at her house that night while watching horror movies which was honestly just a normal day since I watch it 24/7. Perhaps next year when the grief becomes easier to burden, I'll celebrate again. :)

I'm heartbroken because Halloween is my favorite holiday, but due to some deeply personal reasons and life changes I won't be participating this year. My heart just isn't in it.

But I may hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, at the very least.

also aussie and yeah - halloween events like dress ups happen, but trick or treating really isn't a thing here (maybe kids are doing it nowadays though, who knows)

After everything, I don't know. I don't really have anyone to spend the holiday with anymore. So I might just walk around if the its not snowing to bad and or try to make a friend online? See if theres anyone in my area around my age who just wants some company or someone to be whimsical with. I don't know where to start but I really don't wanna be alone for Halloween.
