I've read many posts that suggest creating H2S with lime sulphur, but i have also read some comments that using sodium sulfide is better as lime sulphur is a mixture of stuff that potentially causes unpredictable results. the lime sulphur i have is polysulfides and i also read that these take longer to produce a lethal reaction.

can anyone provide guidance on this? is using sodium sulfide in the mix better?

I am also very curious to know this. I saw a video that another user posted on a related thread, (apologies, having trouble finding it again to post a link here), of law enforcement testing the dissipation rates of h2s generated via lime sulfur in a car. The reaction itself with lime sulfur looked difficult to control with a lot of foam and took 4 minutes to reach lethal levels of h2s in the best case. I wonder if using sodium sulfide might produce more rapid generation of h2s with fewer noxious byproducts?
The bubbling in the reaction I saw did not look like one where the h2s could be first captured in a bag as suggested elsewhere; far to explosive. I worry that 4 minutes of slowly climbing h2s levels would be agony and give ample time for SI to kick in.

I can tell little without the video link... The goal is not to fill the car with H2S but to die. You can bring the bucket closer to your face. If the bubbling hinders the reaction, adding defoamer might work. But it's possible the defoamer causes undesirable reactions. I agree sodium sulfide is a better option if this is true🤔

I'm sorry I don't know how to do that. Do you have any suggestions?

It seems downloading videos with age restriction is demanding. To install youtube-dlp and execute
yt-dlp --cookies-from-browser chrome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbeP9hUEbrw
(if you are using chrome) might work. While I'm trying to save your computer security by using open source solutions but I cannot take any responsibility.
Maybe the video is not necessary. Chemical reactions take time regardless of bubbles, and even if the lime sulfur and acid create bubbles it's found out that H2S will be produced enough to be fatal in 4 minutes. You don't have to wait in the room with H2S. In the CO method, it's advised to wait outside of the room until the gas accumulate then enter it quickly holding your breath, finally take deep breaths. You can do the same thing. Of course sodium sulfide would do a better job.
