So I was planning on using SN but I don't know where to obtain it.

I'm going to buy a gun and ctb that way. I know nothing about them though.

What gun should I buy? And do I aim for my heart or head?

If you have the arms to manage it, a shotgun is pretty ideal, if not you may want to look into a handgun instead. If you can't properly hold the shotgun there's a chance you'd slip or twitch and become one of the 5% or so that just end up a vegetable. Either way, ideal placement (or at least my plan) is in the mouth, pointed back and slightly up. You want to hit where the spine and brain connect, look up a diagram of the human head to get an idea.

Then get used to guns, go to shooting clubs, practice, get ready, study. The main reason for failed gun CTBs are impaired cognition and lack of training in using them

You want to destroy the The medulla oblongata, as you stated 'where the spine and brain connect', that's the killing and peace shot.

If you aim for the cerebellum, you will generally hit the oblongata.

12-gauge shotgun, preferably a slug (bullet), aiming in the mouth tilted upward, optional: take aspirin or some other blood thinner 30 minutes beforehand. This is my plan if I decide to go with the gun method. The aspirin is in case I miss the brain stem and survive somehow, which is unlikely.

Whats the mechanics on this?

12-gauge because it shoots with the biggest shells, slugs because the actual shot is just one big metal projectile (slugs are also known as the most powerful when it comes to shotguns and causes whatever it hits to explode on impact) but that's only a preferance because there's a very slim chance to survive with a shotgun eitherway, through the mouth so you don't miss, tilted upward to hit the brain stem aka the medulla oblongata (even if you actually miss the brain stem, it won't really matter because your head will be obliterated but it's just to increase mortality rate). The aspirin is to help bleed out faster if you do survive somehow, and so there's a smaller chance paramedics can save you.
I wasn't really sure what you meant by mechanics, but I hope my explanation sufficed. I had a lot of time to think about this procedure, so if there are any potential discrepancies in this plan, let me know.

Definitely can't do a shotgun. I'm very short.

Haven't you seen those horrid videos of shotgun to the head survivors? It absolutely does matter where you aim, you can literally blow 3/4 of your head off and live like that for many years thanks to the wonders of medical science...

Have you ever seen an unfortunate soul who survived after firing a shotgun inside the mouth? It is my belief that that is virtually impossible to survive, deep in the mouth, centered and pointed a little upwards. I think that most of these tragic survivors used the under the chin method and wound up blowing off the front of their face. Am I wrong?
