Gun question

Hello!

Would .38 Special Hornady 158gr JHP XTP ammunition be sufficient to ctb?

Current plan is to shoot through the mouth, I have taken a picture of my aim and am confident in it.

Kind of? Im really hoping to do it soon since that is what the plan is, I just want to make sure it is sufficient.
Like I said, Im confident in my aim, Ive looked at diagrams and practiced my aim multiple times.

I think through the mouth is not recommended. Behind the ear is the sweet spot, or so I've read. IDK what kind of gun that is, maybe it's powerful enough where you shoot won't matter.

I can't advise, since my method's shotgun. Personally, I'd go .357 magnum + hollowpoint bullets, in the mouth, aiming at the brainstem. Here's some people talking about the angle, but I'm not sure. (As I understand, the .357 magnum shouldn't be one of those ultra-tiny ones)
