Hi
I've seen a lot of doubt regarding whether or not someone is conscious or unconscious during a full suspension hanging attempt. Below I've linked some videos in which people are undoubtedly conscious for a few minutes (due to them not following the hanging best practices).

https://videos.watchpeopledie.tv/1719035815680032.mp4

In the video above, the woman is conscious because she didn't put the knot behind her neck. At some point she tries to reach for the ladder (unsuccessfully).

https://videos.watchpeopledie.tv/17214022355227306.mp4

In the video above, the woman did something wrong, however we can't tell what went wrong because we can't see her neck and the noose around her neck.

https://videos.watchpeopledie.tv/kq2muorx.mp4

In the video above, the woman used a non-constricting noose.

https://videos.watchpeopledie.tv/17054167523214734.mp4

In the video above, the girl used a non-constricting noose. Also, she put her hand between the noose and the neck.

https://videos.watchpeopledie.tv/16937749321849043.mp4

In the video above, the girl used a non-constricting noose.

What does a good hanging look like? How does a hanging look like when someone is unconscious?

How to make sure you lose consciousness instead of struggling to breathe for a minute or two?

1) Make sure you put the noose as high up in the neck as possible.

2) Make sure you use a constricting knot, such as a noose knot (instead of a hangman's knot).

3) Make sure you put the knot perfectly behind your neck.

That's all. Now you know how to avoid the most common hanging mistakes!
What size tope

How the hell would I know that?! Honestly, your questions are stupid. Just stop. Please.

I'm sorry I have to sound like this, but enough is enough! You don't have the right mindset to be hanging yourself, let me tell you.

Hey, I'm writing to let you know that I feel bad for the way I reacted yesterday. Perhaps I exaggerated. Sorry.

You're more than welcome to ask any relevant questions you may have.

Hope your day is going well, by the way.

Generally speaking I think that most people who hang themselves and succeed do not ask themselves as many things as they ask themselves, probably because unlike these people, we fear more the fear of suffering while they don't think about it so much, the simple fact of living has become unbearable for them.

So I just did a "trial run" for partial hanging, using the knowledge from the OP.
It's so much easier than I thought. The only reason I woke up at all is the fact that my "anchor" failed and tipped over. I did register that I am losing consciousness, but i just sort of fell asleep before I could react to that (it took what felt like seconds) and I didn't even feel like I'm suffocating. The only thing that scared me was the fact that I was spazzing like crazy while waking up.
I feel so good now, knowing that it's so easy to ctb through hanging. Thank you, Evelyn, for putting together all those guides and resources. I would say you're a lifesaver, but… well…

It's scary to watch the second video. She seems pretty young. I wonder why she didn't try to get back on that stool
I agree. She seems so young. I wish there was a way to leave this world withought leaving a traumatic scene for someone to walk in on. I hope she's at peace now.

In my attempt I'll be using a "12mm polyester braided" rope.
Also, make sure to have a tablecloth or a plastic bag around your neck to avoid a neck burn from the rope.
did it work? sry it says the reply twice my b hehe x3

Very insightful read, thank You! So if I understand correctly, fainting means no more blood goin up, so unless someone interrupts/rope brakes within 5-10 minutes you should be gone.

Fun fact: I believe in the 2nd video, that girl is a streamer called siri524, who hung herself after her ex-boyfriend sent nude photos of her online.

i have a question. Why do they lose motor control if they're conscious? I thought convulsions, loss of motor control, and abnormal posturing is a sign that the person is unconsious. Although you can see that they're kicking their feet and they put their hands on the noose. So I don't know whats going on.

They are definitively unconscious.

thats what i was thinking but you can see on the first video for example, during the process, she is puting her hand to rope, she is kicking her feet and she also tries to reach for the ladder. But i see that her posture is abnormal and barely has motor control. So i was wondering is it possible to lose motor control while concious.

Of course it's possible to lose motor control whilr conscious. It even happens in different diseases.

It is possible to loose motor control while being conscious but not when the blood flow through the brain is stopped. In this case the brain goes in it´s energy saving mode and shuts down the biggest energy consumer, consciuosness.

So, this woman is not unconscious and she certainly failed to stop the blood flow efficiently and it's why she try to escape and reach the scale and to put her fingers at the slip knot ? If she was unconscious, her body could have tremors or unorganized movements but not precisely something to save her, trying to reach the scale or to untighten the slip knot... I don't understand that in fact.
Sorry, "ladder" and not "scale". I don't speak English well.
