• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This place is just great. Although we are dealing with a painful subject, it is nice to have a community that completely understands you and not just brushes off/gets angry/runs away when you discuss suicide.

Even in mental and physical illness communities, it is considered taboo and there's practically no one to share with.

People here are like minded. They understand the struggle. They understand the pain. They understand that it is not some form of weakness or a desire for attention. They know that for those who have come to consider it seriously, life is truly hard.

In here, we can approach this subject and discuss it openly, like human beings are supposed to, and not feel completely alone with our pain.

In these very hard time, this community is sometimes the only thing that gives me comfort.

I am grateful to the founders, the moderators, and wonderful people that keep this community going.

I second that. Wish I had chosen to post here when I originally found it. It would've probably kept me for spiraling as far as I have , ironically enough, and saved me.

I had strange stay in mental hospital ward where I could mention suicide and they wouldn't even try to restrain me of start to talk me out of it but one nurse didn't like my ctb talk much, but otherwise they were surprisingly open to this topic. However I had to leave and now this is the only place I can hang around before I end it.

I agree. I am finding great comfort simply by reading words from others in similar situations. This is such a lonely and isolating process. It's nice to not feel so alone.
