Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So, I was sleeping and my mom was nagging me over some trivial thing. I ignored her, but she kept verbally abusing me—severely. Eventually, I woke up to do that thing, but the issue is that she **did not** stop. I was sleep-deprived, and her words were too triggering. I ended up losing control for the first time and I beat her until she fell to the ground.
After that, she got angry to a degree I had never seen before. She kept cursing me, said she wanted to cut all ties with me, told me she was going to tell my dad and siblings, and even threatened to call the police (which I think is ironic). She told my older brother, and surprisingly, he was understanding and sided with me. Thanks to him, we reconciled.

My only complaint is that he ended up saying: *"He's mentally ill, please let it slide."*

That reminded me of how much my family sees me as a mentally ill "retard" who can't be trusted with anything. Another thing: after my mom got angry at me, she went on a rant about many things. One of them was calling me a "parasite NEET"—and honestly, it still makes me laugh.

My parents don't care about my future. They're not trying to help me find a job or invest in me or help learb any useful skills or acquir any Education even Though Money's no issue for them They never cared about my education or future—but somehow, they still blame me for being a NEET. *S.M.H.*
Overall, it ended well. She didn't even tell my dad or sister at all. I just want to give some advice to people here, especially NEETs: **don't bite the hand that feeds you**. I was lucky I didn't end up getting kicked out. It was all my fault—I lost control.

But nothing justifies a man beating a woman—let alone his own mom.

Don't blame yourself for others also lacking self-control. In my honest opnion, some people (yes, even women) don't learn until they're literally smacked upside the head, and sometimes not even then. Of course, you're right that you could've exercised more self-control yourself, but it seems as if that's all you've been doing up until this point. You're human, you have limits and boundaries that are obviously being trampled because nobody takes you seriously, it's no surprise that one day you'd snap.

Live and learn, at least you seem able to, unlike your mother.
