Help got a weird question about how to get blood out of my body

i'm an art student. for a class i have an assignment to create a painting with something that has come out of my body. any fluid like blood, piss or mucus or other stuff like hair.
i want to make my piece with hair and blood.
i have experience with self harm, but i want to get my blood for this in a much safer way.
any recommendations? places in the body where i might bleed the most, tools i need?

Maybe you could use one of those lancets people with diabetes use for blood glucose tests? They're easy to get at drug stores.

I was going to suggest this also. I have used them before and they are almost painless and very effective at drawing blood, but how much blood do you need?

If you decide to use this method, buy more than one (they usually sell them in boxes of dozens) and alternate fingers. Don't puncture other parts of your body because it's much harder to draw blood with these lancets from them.

And warming their hands first, it's a hassle trying to get blood out of cold fingers.

I don't mean to encourage cheating but you could use the blood of a slaughtered animal. A quick Google search gave me various (online) butcher shops that sell blood by the kilogram for just a few euros. I don't know if there's a visual difference between dried human blood and that of a farm animal but I doubt your art teacher will bring out a DNA test kit. Just prepare a story for how you acquired your own blood and don't use an unbelievable amount of blood for your drawing. A possible false story: you donated your blood and asked to keep half of it (2x half a blood draw). Alternatively, you actually do donate your blood and ask if you can keep half of it.
