There's no judgment from my side. I'm glad he didn't do it. Everyone here is connected by a common thread whereby everyone has different coping mechanisms. And anybody well acquainted with depression and conscious of their behavior knows that manipulation is a survival strategy that comes with the territory. In my opinion, this is the reason it is all more important for me not to play along. And to let this guy know that we love, accept and understand him despite this foolishness. And that's what I want to nurture. But I will not reinforce toxic manipulation. Especially when it was directed to the inside circle that genuinely cares.

I don't know how you expect a person who doesn't know a lot of english to speak like a native. they're from Belgium.

…and like I said, I talked to him a lot and he seemed super decided.
he wanted to make sure that every little detail of his method was in check. every dose, every timing, he was very worried and researched a lot.
you guys know about SN, a lot of people took SN in low doses or without anti-emetic, or vomited a couple of times and still died.
but he took everything serious, including the anti-emetic regime and the preparation.
that's why I believe he is gone.

Ii have been speaking with him for weeks now and this entire things seems sketchy to me as well.

Exactly, no one knows in virtually all of these cases. It's reckless to assume what actually happened without video. That goes for nearly all of the "confirmed cases" in those megathreads too. That said we shouldn't just be shitting on these threads either. He could have posted to encourage others, because he felt that people cared, used this to psych himself up for a scary decision, etc.
