Story Goodbye Everyone. So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish!

I only joined this place recently, but I have had a lot of support from all you lovely people. I am going into a long long long psychiatric treatment program in about nine hours and wanted to say goodbye and thank you.

@sadlyexisting You were the first person I interacted with on here. I loved playing dress to impress and geoguessr with you. I know you will find your way if you want to. I hope you do. I will keep you in my heart, and wish you all the best.

@rest2love We chatted shortly, I think we had some similar childhood trauma, I hope you find your way and I wish you all the best.

If this is really your stop, then I just want to say goodbye the way you deserve.

Some of us were handed the wrong ticket from the start. Wrong route, wrong city, wrong decade. We've been riding this bus for years, watching the scenery, hoping maybe the next stop would feel like home. But not every bus takes you where you need to go. Some just circle the same loop. So if you've decided to step off on your own terms, with your own timing.

I hope your exit is peaceful. I hope it's kind. I hope you don't feel the doors slam behind you. And if there's anything after this, I hope it's not another bus. I hope it's silence, or stars, or something that asks nothing more of you.

Don't worry, you've never offended me! Despite any differences we may share, we are in the same boat after all. I'm happy to hear you were able to find some support here when you needed it, and I'll always be wishing you well in your treatment program and beyond too
