Severe depression, ocd, anxiety etc.. I've tried every treatment and therapy you can think of aside from brain surgery. I'm done living in 24/7 terror and sorrow for no reason :(

They haven't. I live in the city. All they've installed is the long steel bars to hold the nets. People are still jumping

I've thought about it a lot, too. I had a plan to land safely on the built suicide nets (some of them are done) and then jump off again or hang myself with a pretied noose. There's too many obstacles that will make it difficult. I can't scout too well either because I don't want my shit bipped.

I was curious and checked, people don't die instantly or survive and actually die from drowning or hypothermia. If I was around cold enough water, I would just hop in and go the hypothermia route. Less scary and easier to fight SI! You wouldn't even have to go by the bridge where it's patrolled, just a spot you can get in the water. I wish I was in a cold enough area for that.

The Golden Gate Bridge is such a romantic location to CTB. I went there once when I was almost ready to CTB, but the police stopped me before I could do anything. I'm not sure that I would have done it but...

Lmao my first thought was that it would have nets since it's in the Bay Area and people there are overworked and depressed as hell. Unsurprisingly, there are nets.

People don't die on impact. Not high enough for that. You'll sink so far you'll drown in your attempt to swim back up assuming you're able to. You may not pass out when landing. They know this from the bubbles around the corpse's nostrils when pulled out of the water, which means water entered the lungs, which only happens if you breathe it in.

Yes, but there's a good chance you'll survive long enough to experience the agony of multiple fractures and ruptured organs for a a minute or so while also drowning. It's not as instantaneous as jumping headfirst into a concrete sidewalk.
