moved to New York,
Saw her ever so briefly,
Got locked up tryna feed me,
Life js told me it wasn't easy.

Mild depression,
On my way to school when I was told the news,
He overdosed in his room.
I couldn't believe it,
I was stuck in suspension,
The knife in my heart deepened I lost all my affections.
They told me I ain't know him so I didn't have to cry,
I sat in silence every night,
Numb to the thought of meeting the guy,
But now he's gone and I've lost my light,
Now thinking of how Ima die,

Stuck in a loop since 2005,
God help me I don't wanna take my life,
I just wanna face the world with a smile.

And pass away an old head at 89 telling my grand kids stories of how grandpa lived his life.
