I can't find much about using GHB/GBL as a method. As a healthcare professional, I have seen many admissions to ITU following GHB overdose as mechanical ventilation is often required until the G is cleared. I figure it would be a fairly effective method, perhaps combined with an antiemetic and alcohol. I was planning on getting some from the darkweb - it is cheap. I was walking in the forest yesterday and thought it would be a nice place to spend my final moments. I think if I did it at night and fell into a coma, I'd probably die of hypothermia and respiratory failure and it is unlikely I would be discovered until I had passed. Thoughts?

Apparently the combination of Xanax and GHB is extremely dangerous, even potentially fatal. Both substances are central nervous system depressants, and combining them significantly increases the risks.
The mixture drastically slows the breathing rate, which can lead to respiratory arrest, coma, and death.
Has anyone any information on how this works and what are the chance to ctb without endless suffering ? i can easily find GHB at any clubs here in my country, it's as easy to buy as milk. And i already have xanax from my prescriptions.

This appears to be a fairly new and mostly untested method for the purpose of committing suicide. In my view, there are two relevant ways to look at this: - the theory about how it all works - real world data and other practical considerations 1,4 butanediol is supposed to convert to GHB...

Apparently there was a very complete thread on GHB / 1,4 butanediol but it got deleted by request from a certain user. I'm not sure if the link you sent me has all these informations, i've been browsing already a few pages and it's a lot of people asking questions but no clear answer / method / protocol.
I also don't wan't to hurt myself by doing something dumb without having clear informations...So death should occur from respiratory depression? I've always heard of that substance for recreational use.

1,4-Butanediol is indeed a party drug but it can be very dangerous if mixed with alcool or Xanax.
An this is exactly what is unclear to me, it said " The combination of 1,4-BD (which is converted into GHB) and Xanax strongly potentiates the sedative effects, increasing the risk of respiratory depression, coma, and death." but obviously the dose, the odds risks, what happen exactly, is nowhere to be found on this forum.
