  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

That really would be a great way to go.

Unconscious, so no pain, no awareness. Just gone.

No judgement from my loved ones for taking my life into my own hands--they would be spared the extra pain of thinking they could have done something to stop me. Just an unfortunate accident.

Had surgery last week. I thought of the exact same thing. But unfortunately I woke up again

Yeah, woke up 30mins ago. Still kinda loopy from the meds, sucks. But this is probably the best I've felt for the past few months. Hard to feel suicidal when you can barely think. It'll be back soon though.

I knew someone who never woke up from the anesthesia. Apparently it is more akin to medically induced coma than just sleeping. Scary thought.

I didn't find out until years later that the surgery was for cosmetic/aesthetic reasons and not medical. Strange since she was extremely beautiful already. I guess even if you are 8/10 you want to be 10/10 deep down.

The irony. Getting surgery to look better and be acknowledged and looked at. And then die during the process, never again to be looked at.

RIP

I have never been under anaesthesia before. It is my ideal way to die, to be put to sleep, very peaceful. Hopefully I fall asleep and never wake again, but it is not realistic to expect that to happen.

I've been put under a few times. It's the closest you can get to oblivion without actually dying. No dreaming, you're just awake one second, gone, then awake again (waking up is kinda weird tho cuz the meds have to wear off). Very peaceful would recommend.
