• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just had this thought: what if you had a partner and they helped you dig out a hole, put a large enough crate in it, then cover it back up again with you inside? I assume that cause of death would be asphyxiation after a few hours. But laying in a crate under plenty of dirt means that your SI won't matter – you simply can't escape. Yes, it would suck, but I'm willing to bet that failure rate would be very low. Maybe have your hands tied for extra security. And do it in a remote location where nobody could hear you screaming (though even if someone hears you, it's unlikely they'll have a shovel ready to help you in time). I feel like this must be a pretty safe method.

Biggest drawback is that your suicide partner is then guilty of murder so they'd need to ensure they won't get caugt or CTB themselves somehow. I don't see a way of doing it alone unless you have an excavator with remote control lol.

That sounds absolutely awful. I can't imagine anyone even considering this let alone following through with this.

Terrible way to go out unless you're a masochist.

Mythbusters tried the "buried alive" thing and found that after a few scoops of dirt from the backhoe, the casket started breaking as it could not hold the weight of the dirt. So actually, you would most likely be crushed to death.
