Bi male here. I guess not 'out' but its not like a thing that's come up since I'm not fully gay. I dated a trans girl at one point but things didn't come up with people about it. Does kind of leave me wondering just how we would have handled that. Sad to hear some of the problems you guys have going through this.

My name's Ben, and I'm super gay. I came out to my folks when I was 16. They tried to give me "transformative" religious literature about how to overcome my homosexual thoughts. I know they meant well, but it just made me feel like I was "sick," and obviously didn't help at all.

The only way to be gay is to be super gay. :smiling::sunglasses:

No, I don't came out to my parents, only to my friends as gay person on 2017.
But, all the 2019 the gender dysphoria hits me and since then I want to leave as a trans woman for the rest of my days.

I don't get homophobia. For example, shouldn't a hetero man be glad if they find out another guy is gay? It means they're not a competitor

I don't get the anger at homosexuals. Shouldn't heteros be glad since it means less competition for them?
It's not soley about LBGT tbh. A good percent of society tends to get very pissy whenever someone breaks the traditional lifestyle because they were raised to believe that lifestyle is the normal thing and they're afraid to see change or difference. Sometimes it's also due to religion belief from your fellow church.

If it was soley towards LBGT then I'd say well maybe it is just hatred but the fact they basically find an excuse to hate any non traditional lifestyle or change such as socializing on the Internet says something.

Yes you could say sometimes it is because of pure hatred and disgust that led to homophobia but most of the time it's cultural conditioning and what I said in the above that led to it.

I live in a country that is progressive by most standards, but heterosexism and homophobia and transphobia are still big problems here.
What country you from then?

Broken, I hope you understand but I don't want to answer that.

I've never met a heterosexual man who was confident in his own sexuality who had a problem with gay guys.

While I'm not LBGT I honestly wished I was born into a female body instead of a male one.

I just think mental and physical wise my life would be better if I was one. I can wear beautiful outfits and colors such as purple compared to being a male where most clothing is generic and you will be shunned by a lot of people if you even wear a pink hat.

I wish I could wear shit like pink hoodies and high heels without looking like an freak to both everyone and myself.

I'm not interested in the traditional lifestyle of my gender such as tools, taking apart cars and machinery, fishing, gym and that other stuff.

If you're emotionally weak at work or in the middle of public people will support you. If you're emotionally weak as an male during both of those things, most will judge you and see you as weak.

Everyday I fantasize about how awesome it would be if I was one. How beautiful I could make myself. I hate being in a male body.

I don't plan on doing transgender because it's expensive and I'm already struggling as it is in this damn world with autism. If I wasn't autistic then yeah maybe but since society already has one thing against me I won't risk adding another.

I don't like sports and fishing and definetly don't feel like changing sex.

Before thinking about extreme solutions, work on accepting yourself man.

Absolutely. Be it the 'traditional lifestyle' or just anything that can be considered different than them, people on the whole find a reason to hate and antagonize. There's no logic behind it, facing them with reason and reality doesn't matter, they'll cling to what they choose to hate because it's become just a part of their life.

I've always thought it comes from attention seeking and wanting to be important. People who are different draw attention away from them, it gets taken back by being aggressive, making others suffer, and declaring that they are wrong. Those who are 'different' may be doing it for their own form of attention, but they do it in a way that's positive for them, instead of negative to others.

Somehow I am appealed by the idea of doing it with someone.
Are you mostly in the United States?

what exactly is the difference between bisexual and pansexual?
The rising prevalence of pansexuality as an orientation was centered around a belief that bisexuality pertained exclusively to attraction within the binary gender identities (ie, men and women) and excluded those who were nonbinary.

Pansexuality is inclusive of nonbinary gender identities.

However, some people's understanding of bisexuality includes attraction to nonbinary genders.

Both orientations are valid, but there's a lot of theory and debate behind all of it.
