Leaning towards this choice as well. While N is pretty much the indisputable Holy Grail of CTB, Nitrogen EB seems like the most accessible option for a quick, painless choice without much downside if things go south. It obviously requires a bit more prep and crafting work than N, but its nice to go with something that is locally source able and is not inherently illegal to posses. While SN would also fit the bill, there just seem to be too many X-factors involved and takes a bit longer than I would prefer.

You have to buy helium 2.8 (99,98% purity) or higher. I bought helium 4.6 (99,998 % purity).

I have a CRESSI MC9/compact regulator and a full face diving mask Do you have an adapter to connect the pressure reducer to the gas cylinder ?

From what I've read, this is where it gets complicated and is dependent on certain factors such as where the tank was purchased and the tank PSI. There are supposed "quick" options from [removed due to sourcing] and [removed due to sourcing] but with an upcharge compared to what they can be purchased for if you know what to buy directly from suppliers. I guess it comes down to available budget for a "plug and play" option vs attempting to figure out the pieces individually.

looks good, all is there, all set up--How many liters nitrogen gas?--turn it on and get 2000 PSI?

I did the maths and it should be just enough combined with an OD to see me off. There was a video that has since been taken down from Exit with all the calibration info. If youre good with a computer i bet you could still find it. My first attempt was unsuccessful from a leak. (When you set it up find a quiet place and listen for leaks) my next one wont be. Im adding a lot of other stuff to make sure it will work.

I've got a 550L, 13 pound cylinder with a regulator and flow gauge which, according to my research, should be set at 15 lpm (liters per minute) ... Death in 5 to 8 min (30+ min of gas). Does this math sound correct? Of course I'm working with N2 + CO @ 80/20% so it will be a little different than N2 alone. Planning on combining it with oral meds/chems when the time comes. Hybrid Kevorkian/Nitschke/DDMP2 method that should peacefully suppress breathing and simultaneously deprive the body of oxygen while unconscious without the feeling of lack of air.
