What's the difference between full suspension hanging and half suspension? And which one is the least painful? Do you need different ropes? I have many questions, also thinking about ctb again.

Half is called partial and you are kneeling, sitting, squatting. Full is you hanging, feet not touching the floor.
I say full is less painful because it succeeds the first time.
