Full Suspension Question

If my anchor point can be easily reached by my hands will SI kick in every time and save me? At that point it's not much better than partial, right?

I actually tried in a config like yours ans SI did kicked in, the pain is really intense (not the worst I had to endure to be honest) and everybody's diferent but your body is most likely gonna save itself unless you reach the point of unconsciousness quickly

I'm going to use zip ties or handcuffs personally... Also doing full suspension not too far from the ground

Your body can do crazy things while fighting to live. If you can reach your anchor it is not out of the question that you could pull yourself up.
