  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Fuck the gunlaws in Europe. Can't even get a gun to end my misery. I can't do SN and N because I live with my parents. I'm scared of jumping and train. For me only gunshotwound to the head was a possible way out. But of course I live in Europe. Europe is so cucked.

END MY MISERY PLEASE

There is no option of guns where I live as well. The society tries to force us to live and this means it is difficult to ctb. We all deserve a way to exit this world, it isn't as though any of us asked to be alive in the first place.

for REAL, i live in Wyoming, the most open carry yee-haw state in the nation, and it's still a bitch to get a hold of any gun. My dad is a gunsmith, but he knows im suicidal and locks all of his guns up when im around

because of this, im forced to consider partial/full suspension hanging, which is why i made the thread at https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/trees-to-use-for-hanging-from-a-tree-expert.76256/

i just wish i could get my dad's .308, sneak off somewhere private, and ba'doink my head off, so much easier

I can relate. You can't use gun here unless you are in the military or police. Fucking prison like shithole. I hate this life where you can't even choose where to be born.

In the U.S. where most can get a gun, guns still case issues for suicides. You have maybe a 75% - 80% chance of it working, but if it doesn't you can spend years in prison for firing the gun, and some have- most people who attempt suicide by gun don't have access to a location where they can legally fire a gun. You said you are considering full suspension - this statistically is almost as likely to work and you won't go to prison if it doesn't. It is scary, but most methods are scary when you think about them in detail and going through the process.

That's what I don't get about European countries given its history of almost constant warfare. You'd think they'd want a well armed population in case of another war. Maybe I'm just looking at this through an American centric view but it just baffles me how they're that strict with something that should be used for self defense let alone suicide. Can anyone from a European country explain to me some sound reasons as why their that strict on guns?

It sure seems to cut down on the amount of mass shooters...

Yeah it's almost a complete opposite here I can't find any mental health help but I can get a gun literally in 10 to 20 minutes in my state. God bless this wild west I guess? lol

I wouldn't worry about going to prison over firing a gun indoors or outdoors especially if the reason is for suicide if anything they would just lock you up in a mental institution instead of taking a penile prison approach. Although if you're black in America they probably will send you to prison so it depends on your race and class and where you live in the country but you're most likely to not be penalized and rather institutionalized into a "mental health facility"

So that's your excuse for widespread gun control almost over an entire continent? Sure the US has a mass shooting problem but if I'm not mistaken y'all still have rampage killers who uses cars, vans, knives, and recently in the news in the Nordic countries someone used a bow and arrow. Criminals are going to find a way to kill people regardless and the government is taking the only way for law abiding citizens to defend themselves. Plus mass shootings make up a small percentage of the gun deaths in the US. Did you know they don't tell you that half of 40,000 guns deaths in the US are suicides? Where's the media attention on that? Oh wait they will never cover that.

Here in Belgium it's actually relatively easy to get a license and subsequently a (non automatic) gun, sadly a GP has to sign a medical paper that you are of sound mind... which fucks me because I already have all of my mental stuff on record. A hunting license had even less hurdles but had the medical paper too. I believe the UK is similar. And of course Switzerland. Europe really isn't as 'cucked' as you think it is.

So if you don't already have your stuff on record, I would tell you to look into your country's gun laws in depth. Wherever that may be.

I understand you. Here in Brazil it's very difficult to get a gun (unless you're a drug dealer).
