If you're referring to reddit, that place is a cesspool. Do yourself a favour and avoid making any posts or comments with substance because, like irl, 98% of people can't grapple with an idea that doesn't already fit their worldview.

We got you. Tbh I see similarly rooted behaviour here, though it just comes out differently, and maybe the threshold for decency is higher. I wrote earlier in a small sub I'm in about the sleep study (which I saw that you saw) not even seeking any kind of response - only sharing - and one member just chimes in with some "breathe and it'll help you sleep, don't overthink" bs. Bitch you don't even know why I'm doing this, don't throw your stupid advice at a situation you haven't even tried to understand!
