yes i have, just confused the resources have conflicting advice re psition
Gotcha, I am trying to figure it out as well. I would like to go tonight but my mind is not in the right place. I am also jut trying to find out a way to pass out with the rope around my neck
I have seen posts that say everyone is different but my sweet spot seems to be on the sides. Do you plan on partial or full if I may ask?
I am thinking that primarily we should check to make sure we get the passing out feeling as opposed to the head filling up with blood. I think if we got that then it is reasonable to commit

I agree. I sent you a pm but don't know if you qualify for that or not yet?

Well, it's the highest point on the neck.

Graphic material, warning (forensic photos + neck dissection showing blood vessels)

Under the jaw, more or less at the height of the Hyoid Bone, which is above of the Adam's apple (laryngeal prominence). The ligature knot should be behind the neck in the center (it is always advisable to use a self-tightening knot such as the Arbor Knot, for example)

The woman in the shower… doesn't even seem that high, doesn't look like self tightening knot, doesn't seem like bar would be sturdy enough, and she was successful? So crazy that many of us can't go through with it, when something like this looks so simple. Unreal.

A self-tightening knot helps with compression and pressure because it will close itself to the maximum due to all your applied weight. Without leaving any empty spaces in the ligature, encircling the entire neck.

It's a simple method; most of those who have hanged themselves knew nothing about knots or materials. They just did it.

I'm attaching the full photo, warning: naked corpse:

Yikes. This is crazy. So many here struggle with partial, then this person accidentally does it. Arms secured too. Odd. I guess what you meant is this knot doesn't seem obviously self tightening to me. Seems a gap in it. Doesn't matter really. Just kind of an odd feeling seeing this. Knowing how I and many others here have struggled with fsh, it's always a bit jarring to see success like this.

I also thought the same. So many here struggle with partial but whenever I see these hanging pictures or videos so many of them do partial and succeed. Maybe the reason is that those people suffered so much that their si was fully numb and thats why they didn't stood up and put the noose off.
