Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

He's a suicide prevention speaker. Now I am not anti-suicide and I really want to ctb, nothing will change this. However I found his talks particularly interesting (I think he's done 6 TED talks on this topic so far) because he speaks about chronic suicidality. It's when, as he says, "suicide is always on the menu for problems big and small." He spoke about a time his car broke down and he felt he had three options:
1. Get it fixed
2. Get a new car
3. Kill himself.

Until I saw his talks I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Whenever anything goes wrong I always want to kill myself. As an interesting aside, who remembers the music video 74 75 by the Connells? This speaker was one of the students in the video. Anyway his name is Frank King and here is one of his TED talks:

Here's the music video for those who fancy a trip down memory lane:

And in 2015 they updated the video with the same people 22 years later:

Avoid Ted talks. Avoid motivational talks/books. These types of guys tell you what you want to hear.

I should stress that I am not swayed by his anti-suicide message and I still want to ctb. I was just really interested to find out that chronic suicidality is a thing as I thought i was the only one who felt like that. I thought some other people here might feel that way and like to know they aren't the only ones.

I would consider myself to be chronically suicidal since I always had it on my mind, although mostly passively and serves as an escape from the horrors of sentience. It is indeed always on the menu and for people (especially pro-lifers) to say it's never/not an option, they are just delusional people who drunk the kool-aid of sentience.

I want to die all the time. The thing we all know is that we want it because we want the pain to end.

Because its stupid. We have so many problems thrown at us it´s ridiculous to think life is this amazing thing. We know this existence is based on suffering and there wil always be another shitty thing to ruin our day and mood. It´s exausting. For everyone. Some just cope better than others. Like neurotypical millionares that live in a bubble of confort.
