Story found my abusers social medias after 3 years

so a bit after i realized my abuser (i'm just gonna name them here cause who cares? their name is rezi, yes, named after terezi from homestuck.) had abused me, i basically exposed them on my tiny ass tiktok account in 2020 which accidentally blew up and they got a lot of comments. it was kinda nice but then they deleted everything and didn't know shit about them, which was good for the healing process but then i got kinda bored cause i like making fun of abusive assholes. well today i was looking through my snapchat contacts and guess who made one... which was the same username apparently on every other social media cause i found all their shit. they're a car person lol. it was really really weird especially because they are lying about a bunch on their social media. their other exes and i have all concluded they're a pathological liar and had a couple years ago but still, it's really weird.

they're also apparently autistic which is insane cause i am as well, and i'm not one to doubt people for that but autism and narcissism both have some similar traits, and it's been clear they're a narcissist for a while and most people they hurt agree. kind of pisses me off to see it looks like they're doing good and my life is shit. karma isn't even real for that specifically.

One thing I've noticed is that those who appear to be doing good often aren't. Most of us don't broadcast our worst moments on social media, and when we do we make sure it isn't at risk of making ourselves look bad. Nobody ever says "I hit a pedestrian" but rather will say "got in an accident" or "person ran in front of me." Humans aren't just good at convincing themselves they are morally right, but good at believing whatever they have to in order to get past a certain situation or incident. This person is probably using social media to make themselves look better than they are. You did say they were a narcissist after all, so this behavior kinda comes with the title.

It sucks ass seeing the people who fucked you up living their best lives, but they probably aren't. Social media can be fake as hell.
