  • Hello Guest,

We will not be following or complying with the Online Safety Bill that was recently signed into law in the UK. This bill will not affect the operations of the site, nor do we have a presence in the UK to receive notice or fines that the UK Government may impose.

We would highly recommend that all users from the UK get some sort of VPN, and you should petition your lawmakers to let them know how you feel about this piece of draconian legislation.

I started self harming when i was 11 and its only got worse since then, i want to get clean for once and i have been wanting to for a while. I dont want to cut but every night i force myself to because if i dont then im “getting better” and thats the worst thing in the world to me but i dont understand why i hate the idea of recovery so much if i want to recover.

Because it has been a part of your life for so long. Self-harm is what you know, and life in recovery is the unknown. Not to mention you’re giving up something that has been a core coping mechanism for you for such a long time. Maybe you can find something to replace that part of your routine at night?

It’s a really hard thing to do, so don’t be too hard on yourself if you slip up because it will only make you feel worse. Don’t give up though, I believe in you. Wishing you the best.
