For those that live with family -- where are you guys hanging yourself?

I don't want to hang myself and traumatize my family. I'm really set on death by hanging -- it's my preferred method, but if I can't figure it out, then I'll settle for co2 poisoning.

Where are you guys planning to hang yourself? I was thinking a park with trails and lots of trees but I think the trees might be too fragile to support my weight? Also considering a hotel but I'd probably traumatize the staff, but I'm honestly not really too worried about that at this point.

Hanging does scare me as a method and the fear of failure is what holds me back from attempting personally. I do think that if I had the courage for it, I would not care about who finds me. I will no longer exist at that point and if my death traumatises others, it is the fault of the society for denying us the option of euthanasia. I would choose to ctb anywhere where there is the least chance of being interrupted and the method failing, that is all that is important to me. Ending up in a worse quality of life would be so horrifying.

I think that people who fail hanging are found too soon and resuscitated. I did read somewhere on here that if someone is hanging uninterrupted for 60 minutes then their is no chance of being saved. Actually on the hanging megathread it did say at least 30 minutes but a different thread said 60 just in case.

I thought about renting an airnb where there is ceiling fans or something of that sort that supported my weight. I have seen others do it so I know it could work for me. In my house there is no such thing that supports my weight and i also dont want them to see me with my tongue out

Thanks for sharing the article. I guess I am wrong. It is really horrifying keeping someone alive who has such a low quality of life. I think that if I had the courage for hanging I would make sure I got at least a few hours with no chance of being interrupted, I think that would be for the best, just in case.

I'm going to do it at home when my family will be at some meeting, party or shit. Only at home cuz I don't want to risk giving someone a trauma after seeing my corpse.

I don't feel comfortable giving advice however I don't mind talking about myself. Personally I'm 110-125lbs, I grew up in the woods climbing trees and small branches don't work lol. I just know what I'm looking for.

I thought about doing that. But I am also scared of it not supporting my weight. But I think the thickness of the tree can determinate if it does the trick, perhaps.

If I were to do partial/full hanging I plan on doing it during a school day, as my entire family would be out for 8 hours. I would stay home "sick" and would leave a note on my door explaining whats in the room and to not open the door, and instead to call 911. I then lock the door and hang myself.

Since I am newly 18 without a job or car I have no other option but to do it at home, so I might as well do it as cautiously as possible.
