The past few days, this is what I've been doing, and I have to say that it feels damn good. I feel that I've been forsaken because I have lost control over my life. Everything is closing in on me and I'm panic stricken. The only thing that gives me any sense of control is calling God out for abandoning me, even tho I know it's more like I abandoned Him. Are any of you ever angry with God and how do you deal with that?

I am so with you - the idea of some benevolent being who guides my life and is essentially good is the opposite of my lived experience.
You have not abandoned Him - we pretend He cares/exists to make this vale of tears less painful, to hold on to some faint, tenuous hope of better days.

None taken, and that was not the intent of my question. Some people find faith and destiny in themselves, instead of seeking such elements from an external being/deity. In a sense, they are their own Gods, with the capability of choosing and controlling their own fate. Ofc, when people think of God, they believe that it is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, but such definitions vary across different religions/belief systems. I apologize if my comment sounded snarky or rude because I was engrossed in my studies and therefore I wasn't in the correct headspace.

no its ok. for me god's basically belief. i believe in myself. i believe everyone has the capability to be their own god but i can understand that sometimes it takes an outside source to see it. (Christianity ect) to me, in other religious they are basically sending their belief out to "god" and "god" is sending it back. whatever works for the individual really, im just skipping the middle man. mostly because i found the stories hard to believe and could never understand why i needed something i dont believe in to tell me something i already know.

No. Personally, I am very spiritual and believe we pre-plan a basic outline for the trajectory of our lives before we incarnate. I believe I chose an extremely challenging life on purpose with the intent to grow and develop spiritually through surviving adversity and trauma.

I don't think my life is "wrong" per se. I think it's largely unfolded as it was meant to be- I'm just too weak to cope with the pain and sorrow that it's inflicted upon me.

I do NOT believe in organized religion, BUT I do say evening prayers to GOD. GOD is part of the total experience as far as this life is one of many that I will go through. Now yes I have good and really bad days, but in the total scheme of things to "blame" GOD or whoever is just not me. It's not only you. I think that universe would have been better off without humanity. It was fine without us and it will be fine without us, if not even better. Just look what we do to our planet.

If you asked me, I would say that God is omnipresent and within every one of us, animals, extraterrestrials. Whether God is part of insects, molecules, cells? I don't know. Maybe.

We should look within ourselves and not look outside of ourselves to shift the blame for our wrongs.

I think humanity was an experiment by extraterrestrials and misled by them into thinking they are pur God by using advanced technology that our people took for miracle.

I think the ultimate God, the God of everything is omnipresent and is just neutral about everything. God just exists.

Therefore God that is mentioned in religious books is not truly the ultimate God that we are told to believe so it's possibly we are praying to the "wrong" God.

I don't know why extraterrestrials seeded humanity on earth. Since they are not the egoless and all loving ultimate God, it's possible they needed humanity to serve their interests. Same thing governments need humans for their own interests.

If there is a God I find it impossible to believe it loves any humans like we are all taught to believe. Something must have created all of this but I dont think it cares about any of us.
