How are you supposed to light the charcoal? Last night I tested it by putting a nonstick pan on the bottom with shredded newspapers underneath my chimney starter then I lit the newspapers The flame went out after a couple seconds. Please answer I don't have much time left.
I'm not sure what to say. I can get the newspaper to burn, but it burns out naturally before the charcoals light, so I'm going to add kindling. Maybe try layering some newspaper throughout the chimney starter and lighting it inside as well as underneath.
