Hi, so I'm stuck with the options of

food grade nitrogen in size 60 cu ft
or
Pure argon 40 cu ft.

I'm using a nitrogen click style regulator. I've been told I can use a nitrogen regulator w argon. However, I'd have to have it at a higher lpm. I'm guessing this would mean I would go through the 40 argon tank faster since I'd be having it come out at a higher liter per minute. And idk if there is more risk of baro trauma with a higher flow rate. But I think you go unconscious faster with pure argon gas compared to slightly diluted food grade nitrogen.

What do you guys think??

I don't know what a 60 cu ft oxygen tank weighs, but it might be more than you want to deal with. My 40 cu ft Argon tank is small and not so heavy that it's difficult to move around. And, 40 cu ft is more than twice what is needed which allows you to experiment a little. I used a little to see how long it would take to fill the bag after all the air had been crushed out.

do you feel safe with it being so small? I see the max dog brewing regulators are for 20 cf. I would not feel safe with that!! whenever I see forensic photos they always tend to be a bigger size too' I've never seen a photo with a 20 Cf cylinder. just something I've observed from photos so I dont feel as safe with smaller

I wouldn't feel comfortable with a 20 cu ft tank but apparently that's considered adequate. But, we were discussing a 40 cu ft tank.

Either one of these will do the job just fine. May as well get the nitrogen if you already have a regulator for it.

Also, food grade is plenty pure.
