Hi, im wondering about dying from ingesting poisonous flowers or herbs? I've never seen this posted about before. Does it work? I don't care if it hurts

I understand that in india , there are quite a few cases where children using orleander ( tree) seeds to ctb or accidentally ingest and died. It belongs to the category of cardiac toxin , like digoxin or propanolol. Might not easy for adult though.

Yes and no. Yes, because (obviously) there are cases when someone died after ingesting specific plant or plants. No, because it is unreliable. Plants do not contain specific amount of poison. It's always a range so you never know how much of active substance you actually ate. Also, your body will try its best to remove the poison and you'll most probably vomit like crazy which might leave you with just enough toxin to permanently damage some of the organs but still alive. Also, yes, it will hurt and you will start caring quite quickly, at least according to those who survived.
