How should I go about informing people? I live alone in my apartament (where I'll CTB)

Was thinking about scheduling a message to my friend and telling her to call the paramedics so she won't see my body while hanging.
Then she'll probably contact my parents who live 3 and a half hours away from me. So I imagine the drive would be hell.

Or just contacting the paramedics myself right before doing it but I fear I won't have enough time and they'll find me alive.

What's everyone's plan on having your body found? Or letting people know you died?

My mother has contacts for several local district police officers, so I just copied down their numbers and plan to send a scheduled SMS stating where my body is, and asking to call the police

While I understand your POV, I personally decided to not care about it too much. I view it almost as another form of pleasing, where I start to put others' ahead of myself. I've suffered enough. I just hope I won't be found all bloated and half decomposed. I live in a house next to my folks, so I should be able to be left alone for 12+ hours before somebody comes to check. Lock the doors just to make sure and let them figure out the rest. I'll write in my note that I don't want a funeral. Just cremate me and get it over with. Post a picture on the wall if you need to, but nothing more.

I'm 2 hours away from ending my life and I did the scheduled message to friend telling them to call 911 to collect my body. I also included my address so they won't have to look for it and advised my front door is unlocked. I tried to stress that should not come over and to just let first responders handle it.

I have this concern too (as I live alone too). I think I've found the solution : sending a letter to the police by post telling them I'm dead. So 48 hours later, they will enter your apartment and fond your body. The only problem with this method is that you need to be 100% sure to ctb before sending the letter. My letter is ready. Everything is ready. I'm done but my SI is so fucking strong.

Did you use the instagram schedule option or how did you go on with the scheduled message to your friend? My friend doesn't have ig so the only option would be scheduling an email?? But I don't think she'll read that like at all.

That's an idea! But will they even take it into consideration if it's not a formal police report? I mean in my country I don't even think they will read it.

Fair enough!! I think that's how it "should be". I wish I would be able to not care at all who finds my body. I know it won't matter anymore after I'm gone but I feel I can't leave in peace if I don't at least have a plan.

I have an older iOS version and I dont have that option. I'll try setting up an automation.

I am struggling to decide how to handle this. Not sure if I want to include my family or friends. I don't want to make it worse for them. A scheduled message to the police would be good.
