Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I can't sleep, work-induced anxiety often keeps me awake until the middle of the night, all to wake up at 7am and repeat.

I started reading this forum before going to bed and realizing that there is an alternative, that nothing matters ultimately, has a soothing effect. I can sometimes sleep better because of it.

I read about people that live in a hell much worse than mine, and that puts things into perspective. Has anyone experienced the same?

Not me because not many are living in a worse hell than I am.

The thought that life is meaningless rubbish and that I'll die one day anyway makes me feel more at piece
When I'm stressed I just think I'm gonna die anyway who cares why am I worried about temporary meaningless bullshit

One of the many aspects of Fight Club is definitely positive nihilism.

The book is also good too, if you haven't read it. It has some variations from the movie.

"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." During the scene when Tyler gives "Jack" the chemical burn kiss on his hand.

A lot of people focus exclusively on the anti-consumerism message of the film, but that line is meant to be very broad and applying to anything.

That part of the movie always resonated with me too. How progressively letting go of what we found valuable frees us, including our aversion to pain.

This also translates to the complete lack of bitterness in Tyler's character, as if anything that could rot his personality had been shed long before it had a chance to do so.
