Digger



Digger, a red kelpie, is Rusty and Dusty's older brother. He's caring and levelheaded, and looks out for his younger siblings, especially as his army Dad's often away for work.

Like the rest of his family, Digger is cricket mad. He loves playing with his mates, including his friend Tiny, who's a very fast bowler.

Sometimes Digger lets Rusty join in with the older boys, although he thinks Rusty should wait until he's a bit bigger before having a turn as batsman, so he doesn't get hurt by Tiny's fast bowls.

Dusty



Dusty is little red kelpie who is full of beans. She loves playing cricket with her two older brothers, Rusty and Digger, especially in her backyard and at the beach.

Her army Dad is away a lot, so she often relies on her brothers to show her the ropes.

They've taught her lots about cricket, including when to make a run for it if a stray ball hits her mum through the kitchen window. Rusty even bats Dusty the occasional catch, which makes her giggle with excitement.

Bea is also very sweet and likes to talk. Bea appears to be rather shy at times, but once players get close to her and become her friend, her shy personality breaks and she becomes more outgoing.
