• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

First, I'm a disabled vet. I'm service connected for PTSD and major depression. I've had years of childhood trauma from my dad. I joined the military to escape and experienced trauma in the military. Right now I'm 13,000 dollars in credit card debt.it was a lot more but I took out a loan to pay off half of my debt. I still have 13,000. I feel hopeless. I receive benefits and have a part time job. Whenever anything reminds me of my debt, i just feel overwhelmed and think suicide is the only option. I've thought of buying some tramadol and OD. I did this the last time I tried to kill myself. I almost succeeded if my girlfriend at the time didn't find me. I feel like I'm in a panic when I'm reminded of my debt, and just wish I wasn't here.

I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. I'm very proud of you for staying so long. Life is cruel and evil, I wish we all met under better circumstances. I'll be proud of you whether you choose to reach peace or carry on fighting. Hopefully we can play a game of Connect 4 in another life.

13000 dollars in debt doesn't sound like too much to me. Sure it sucks, but you'll probably be able to pay it off in a couple of years. You can use a calculator to see how long it will take to pay off. Divide the months it gives you by 12 and you'll know how many years it will take. https://www.creditkarma.com/calculators/credit-cards/debt-repayment

Credit card debt is easily wiped out in bankruptcy. Billionaires like Trump have bankrupted many companies and individuals. There is no moral issue with not paying rich banksters who try to steal all your money.

Thank you, and thank you for the info. I'll try out the calculator, thanks for the link. Still feel like I'm in a panic, and days of depression when I think about my debt. I just hate feeling this way

I would like to use the VA home loan. I want my son to be able to live in a house. Especially if I go, so I can't declare bankruptcy.

With some lenders, you can either work out a payment plan or negotiate a lower amount. There are options to try.
