Feeling a bit better?

This is such a weird feeling to have. Ever since I arrived in Canada and saw a totally different place from what I usually see, I felt more energetic and more interested in the world around me. Back in my country people almost never really talk to you but today people actually talked to me in the stores I went to. Maybe it sounds pathetic but even an how are you made me feel a little bit better. I know it's just the way they handle clients but it's nice to be talked to sometimes. A girl also complimented my shirt today! Exploring is so fun and I can truly say that I feel more full of life than in my own country. I want to stay here.

i know exactly how you feel. I lived In the Midwest all my life and moved to Canada for a year. The community and life style is different, everything seems much smaller. Sometimes its nice to have a change of scenery and see things from a different perspective. Hard to tell if its genuine or programmed socialism but it still feels nice. Shame that something so simple isnt the norm for society.
