Fear of things getting better

Does anyone here FEAR things getting better? Like feeling that it will bait you to stay for longer only to then crush you even stronger and it isn't worth it or something?

Yeah I have the fear that if I wait one more day it would turn around and get better but every time I push it off it only gets worse

Worse than things getting better, I worry about things staying in limbo, neither getting better or worse.

I always see a little hope and happiness Things will get better at times, but then I get crushed. It keeps happening over and over. I don't want to be tricked anymore. It's like torture

I do. I took myself off my last medication because I was starting to feel better. I'm not used to feeling good and it scared me.

Yes. I actually resolved some stuff in my life as of recently, but most of my problems stay absolutely impossible to solve, and for some of them I don't want to cope with them, for some of them I can't cope with them. I worry that temporarily getting some progress deludes me to delay cbting even further. (I don't even have a date set as of yet, neither a method chosen.)

It happens to me very often. I think it's a very common feeling when we get used to the bad things happening all the time after something big came before. At least in my opinion, I've always saw that as a sign of my recovery journey and I also saw that as a relapse most of the times. It really depends on your pov, OP!

Its a never ending of cycle of seeing, to take a turn of phrase, a light at the end of the tunnel, only for the tunnel to collapse on you again.

yes but i know that the feeling is less than fleeting to the point where it may as well not have happened
