I don't cut anymore because I haven't had a full-on mental break in like 5+ years but I would break open old and dirty female razors. I liked it had multiple blades and I would choose the most bent, fucked up razor to cut with because it made the cuts wider and uglier. It would be deep, and I would pray for infection. None of them ever got infected, even though I never did any kind of aftercare.

Scarred like a bitch and I regret it every day.

Lately I've been microdosing self-harm by using lancets to poke blood out of my hands. I got lancets in a blood typing kit and got a weird enjoyment out of using them and bought a bunch more.

What's your favorite tool/object to use to self harm? For me... It used to be double-edged razor blades, the thin ones people use for shaving because they're so sharp and it's easy to go deep but after someone recommended an eyebrow razor then that became my new favorite.

I bought a facial razor today to try but I'm pretty sure its no different than an eyebrow razor (sharpness wise).
i tried cutting with a facial razor before but it broke on me lol. i don't know if it's just because it was a cheap one or i was too rough w it

since childhood i used pencil sharpener blades, but i feel like they've grown to become really crappy in recent years, so i recently bought myself a double edge razor

honestly i still like some pencil sharpener blades that are thicker & feel nicer to hold, but considering price and sharpness the double edge blade is the best

i don't really smoke anymore but when i did sometimes i would put it off on me. it scarred pretty lightly and hurt bad

i don't cut as much as i used to because my scars are causing issues at work, but i mostly use Feather blades and X-acto blades when i do cut. i punch myself a lot; usually on my arms, hips/thighs, and the sides of my head. i have constant headaches and body aches because of it, but it's bearable.

In my sh I haven't ever used blades. I often think about them, but I'm scared to cross that line. My sh is blunt force. I hit my head. I used to use my fists, but I typically go for walls now. After some time I've become sensitive to the quality of the wall. The last time it was cement wall with a laminated covering. I find I fantasize about using a hammer, but I'm scared.

Regarding blades, I have a very sharp small Japanese kitchen knife that I rare use. I sometimes hold it, close to cutting, but I haven't yet.

My first ctb attempt was when I was 16 and tried to cut myself with a flat double edged razor. I skimmed the surface, but couldn't commit. This makes me feel I still couldn't, but I have the craving.
You don't have to do anything you aren't comfortable with.

(PS: if someone wonders what my response to the OP's question... probably none... I don't feel like even testing blades, hammers, etc on myself ... idk if scratching a lot at ingrown hairs, etc counts as SH, coz the intention is to just get rid of annoyances on me.) .. also have accidentally got a tiny cut on a blender base coz I searched a drawer that had it upright vs downwards, I'm more careful when searching kitchen drawers now.

I can't easily get my hands on the classic double edged razor blade cause I'm female and nobody really uses them to shave anymore, let alone if you're not using it to shave off a beard, so if anybody questions then I don't have a good excuse. I use box knife blades but I don't think they're that good as it doesn't get down deep (either that or I suck at it) but it's much better than the dull knives in my kitchen. I want something sharper but sharp metal things are hard to buy in good ol' Britain cause we love to shank each other.

I like my kitchen knife ^_^
However, I think about buying a karambit, because they look really good. The only problem will be how to get them shipped to germany. There's a certain maximum length a knife can have and some knifes aren't allowed (the karambit is legal, but only if it is 12cm I think)

Banging my head against the wall works pretty well
