Discussion Favorite marine animals and why?

I was always fascinated by those huge creatures...Megalodon...how terrifying it would be to swim in the ocean and suddenly one of those would appear.

Also everything that has already been named in this thread:

Anglerfish, Squids, Seals, Whales and Jellyfish

Every animal of deep sea is fantastic.

I find it really cool the anglerfish' bacterial light.

But Cthulhu is the best. Would be awesome.

Assuming we can do fictional creatures then I'm going kraken. I was terrified of this pic as a kid, only looked at it again as an adult. If I wasn't going to CTB I'd get a tattoo of it.
