Famous or shocking suicides: Please share

Reading about famous people or people who seem to have a lot and do it is semi-interesting. Music was just playing (I hate music) and Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' played. He didn't sing the song, but made/produced the music. He: 28 slashed his throat with a wine bottle. Intense. "wake me up when it's all over, when I am wiser and older" I really like his parents response to his exit. They said "He just could not go on anymore" I would like that response. Anyway. Please share suicides you know about/think about. I have more to talk about....IDK Tara Condell, Grace Loncar, Luo Lilli...

Vocalist and song writer in a Norwegian black metal band. He committed suicide by slashing his wrists and throat. After not dying quickly enough, he shot himself in the head. Another band member, Euronymous, was the first person to find his body. He went to a store, bought a disposable camera, returned and styled his corpse for a photo session. There was an unofficial bootleg version of a live gig they did. Quality is horrible. If you want to get into black metal, you should skip the big bands and get straight into the good stuff.

One that sticks in my mind is Sylvia Plath who was a poet and writer. After many suicide attempts she died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Before she died her depression was severe and had worsened.

Tv show Glee had like 4 cast members die for different reasons. One from overdose on heroin, another from suicide after he got caught by police with child porn stash, another died drowning. I think there is one more but i forgot. I didnt bother looking up names or exact details but it is so eerie that they all were part of this cursed TV show.

I am into metal music and I can tell you about Jimmy 'The Rev ' Sullivan of Avenged Sevenfold. His death for ruled an accidental overdose but stories from his friends and family, as well as as childhood makes you think otherwise. It's a mystery we'll never figure out.

A politician from Pennsylvania, Budd Dwyer, actually committed suicide on live TV after allegations of bribery. He shot himself in the mouth with a .357 Magnum revolver and died instantly. Then one of the key witnesses against him came forward saying that he had lied about offering a bribe to Dwyer. A very sad case!

Yeah, he was I think 50. At least he experienced some success in academia.

Yes I feel very badly for the poor guy. His death reminds me of Christine Chubbuck, a reporter who also shot herself in the head during a live broadcast. That was also tragic.

Death also haunted the writer Ernest Hemingway's family---5 suicides in 4 generations. Not only did he commit suicide, his father, 2 of his siblings, and his granddaughter also did.

IIRC she did it because she had a hard time with relationships and intimacy and she became depressed and lonely. She had already tried to overdose on drugs before eventually shooting herself.

Yes, I couldn't imagine not dying immediately from a gunshot wound, it's too horrifying to contemplate.

Yeah I read Anthony's gf is pretty odd. I don't know much about it, but it's shocking to me someone like him would do it. Chester B was shocking too, but I don't feel that connected to his story.

There's a satanic edge to musicals. Never watched the show. Couldn't. Yeah, one actress I think drowned saving her 4 yr old kid. Naya Rivera I think. IDK
