Venting Family favorites

Does anyone else feel like their family favors your sibling over you? Or anytime there is a problem they never take your side and actually turn on you? Sometimes I definitely feel it even though they insist they love their kids equally. They constantly misunderstand me when there is genuinely no reason to and I'm starting to think its on purpose to have an excuse to bully me. I have a lot of social skill issues from being homeschooled compared to my sister, I'm not a Christian like my family wants me to be (I haven't told them I'm an atheist but I think they can tell im not interested in their religion), I've never had a boyfriend and I don't want kids unlike my sister, I don't have any goals in life except for dying. But even despite all that, I try to please and love them and try to be happy with them. My mom had me by mistake when she only wanted one child. I know she does still love me, but I can tell my step dad doesn't.

I get you, lovely. I'm called my older brother's name all the time by mistake. Sometimes it feels like I'm not even a registered person to them. I really understand you. I feel like the failure child. I'm far less successful, clever, and outgoing, so I guess it's understandable, but still... I just wish to feel human and welcome.

Some of us just weren't meant to be alive, dear, and there isn't much we can do apart from go back to our natural state of non-existence. I wish you success with your family and hope all gets better however that may manifest. <3

It's such a shame kind souls like you have to go through such torment. Life is truly cruel.

Yes. I call it the Black Sheep Syndrome. I was my Dad's favorite. My sisters were my mothers favorites. Guess what happens when my Dad dies first? Mom gets everything and gives it to the sisters. I get noting but abuse.
