Faking doctor's prescription for drugs?

I don't want any hard-core stuff, all I want is some low-level stuff like codeine to make my brain stfu. Is there any way to fake a doctor's prescription for it? Anyone have experience in this?

Highly depends on your country, everyone seems to have different jurisdictions and methods of getting prescription medicine. In my area, they randomly (not entirely sure based on what do they decide to do it) might call the doctor or clinic to verify that you are a real patient of theirs. If not, you can get jailed for a few reasons, either forgery, or if the police is stupid they could think you have intent to sell, or worse of all hospitalization.

I know its not what everyone wants or likes to hear, but maybe try going to a psychiatrist? you don't have to tell them the whole story, but they can slowly start giving you real signed meds which can help shush the voices :)

Ty for the info :) My psychiatrist did prescribe me lorazepam but unfortunately it doesn't do much to relieve my anxiety and won't prescribe me stronger meds

VegasLyra is absolutely correct - "it depends on jurisdiction". Even certain types of "codeine" have triplicate requirements (or duplicates if you live in that type of jurisdiction). Usually the pharmacy will call the doctor to confirm triplicates/duplicates if they are filled during business hours....and most of those types of prescriptions have a limited validity such as 48 hours, etc.

The biggest issue is that if you are caught, you tend to move from being a person suffering from mental health issues to a criminal druggie, which then causes a whole lot of other problems. If your psychiatrist is not helping you, then consider moving to a new one. Unfortunately, whatever you do is not ideal: If you stay with the current psychiatrist, then you are stuck with a medical professional who really isn't helping you; if you move to a new one, you run the risk of being labelled as a "doctor shopper".
