I'm not sure a connection can be made between a reported successful suicide attempt in a paper and whether it was done with ease. If you read about someone in a newspaper who succeeded with CTB, you are ONLY reading about the successful attempt they had. How many times failed attempts have they had before having a successful one?
Failing ctb certainly sounds so horrific, I admire those with the bravery to successfully end all of the suffering. It really is so difficult to die and of course it makes suicide sound easier when you hear of all these people succeeding. Those who are free from this hellish world truly are the fortunate ones, nobody who exists is lucky at all.
