• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find sollace here.

I wish it was easier to help people. You have an awful lot going on for you. I'm sorry for that. I suppose for each of the problems you listed, there are things you could try to ease your difficulties. They wouldn't necessarily be easy or even work though.

I suppose that goes the same for everyone in a way. We have a set of problems. We can likely see various ways of tackling those problems. Ultimately though, it's down to us over what path we choose, how much effort we put in, whether we feel that it's worth it.

A lot of your problems seem study based vs. the health problems that make studying difficult. What support are you getting from your college/ uni? Are your teachers aware of your diagnosis? Have you spoken to them or any kind of college therapist about your struggles/ worries? They are employed to support you but, do they fully realise you need extra support?

Are your family aware of the situation? Are they supportive? I agree that the future is terrifying. Even in my mid 40's, the future is still uncertain and scary. All we can really do is try to do the best we can. Make decisions that seem right at the time.

I don't know. There are sometimes other routes in life other than qualifiations and study. There are apprenticeship courses that focus more on learning skills. It really depends what you want, what you are realistically able to do. Your tutors really ought to be the ones most knowledgeable about that.

If you are hoping for suggestions to solve your problems, I'd aso recommend posting in the 'Recovery' section. I imagine people there ought to be more in the mindset of fixing problems. I hope you find a way through.
